Each insulation has its purpose and application. If your question is based off what is the best when it comes to energy savings, we suggest spray foam. With spray foam you have insulating properties as well as air sealing properties. 

The spray foam that we install has an R-value of around 7 per inch.

R-value measures an insulation material's resistance to heat flow, indicating how effectively it keeps heat inside during winter and outside during summer. A higher R-value signifies better insulating power and greater energy efficiency.

This depends on what services are being performed, but typical install can be completed in 1-2 days.
